Ms. Krupalija’s practice focuses on trust and estate litigation, business immigration law, and employment litigation.  She has represented large international corporations, small business owners, executors, individual and corporate trustees, heirs, guardians and beneficiaries.  Understanding the client’s objectives, identifying the critical issues early on in litigation, and efficiently developing strategies to achieve the desired results are the hallmarks of Ms. Krupalija’s practice.

  • Negotiated a very low, four-figure settlement for a firm client sued in a complex Fair Labor Standards Act class action lawsuit in U.S. District Court
  • Successfully defended companies in state and federal courts in various discrimination, harassment and whistleblower lawsuits
  • Drafted and updated various employee handbook policies and guidelines
  • Conducted several sensitive internal investigations regarding a wide array of discrimination and harassment complaints against co-workers and supervisors
  • Successfully defended employers in front of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights
  • Served as local counsel in a highly contentious ERISA lawsuit
