What do you enjoy most about your practice?
I enjoy working with my clients to accomplish their personal goals and getting to know them as people, business persons, and members of families.
I help clients plan for their families in the most difficult times and provide them with peace of mind in knowing they have done everything possible to take care of their family in all eventualities. I also enjoy getting to know various generations of a client's family..
What distinguishes you from other attorneys?
I am very involved in the process from the initial client meeting, through drafting the documents, meeting with the clients to review and sign the documents, and following up to make sure that assets are retitled and beneficiary designations for life insurance and retirement assets are synchronized with the planning in the will and trust documents.
I carefully draft documents with each client’s family, asset and tax situation in mind. I respect the fact that clients often confide intensely personal family information and work with them to design solutions for their unique circumstances. I am constantly working to refine my expertise in this particular area of the law, and I believe that we offer sophisticated legal experience in estate planning, probate and trust law at economical rates.
What are your favorite pastimes when you are not practicing law?
I enjoy spending time with our three young adult children, other family and friends and volunteering for different organizations. I am a member of our parish church classical adult choir. I am also a Chicago Bulls fan and like to spend time cooking, outdoors, and occasionally playing golf.
